I had used one of the most popular XML tool for the longest time but its growth pricing has made it very prohibitive. What I am looking for was an XML tool that will help in XSD modeling and development of schemas. I came across XMLFox and it looks very interesting and substantially free than any other expensive XML-editing stuff.

XMLFox 1.61 (http://xmlfox.com) is an extremely small and basic XML and XML Schema editing tool that is free to download and use. In order to run the software, you need to download and install the .NET framework and a database extension, both of which are also free. You can create, modify, and validate files. The program automatically maps a schema document as you are creating the XML document, which is a useful feature not seen in most other XML editors. It also shows you how your document will look in a browser. It is the only free, fully functional editor I have seen so far.
How to create an XML file that is based on XSD schema? XMLFox offers the free and graphical answer to that question.
XMLFox is an XML editing and validation tool for creating valid, well-formed XML documents and/or XSD Schema. XMLFox XML/XSD editor is the Windows based graphical tool for authoring, updating, exploring, well-formedness checking or validating XML documents. XMLFox is an intuitive xml and xml schema(XSD) editor, allows the xml developer to create schemas and show a visual representation of what the xml document will look like for that schema. XMLFox Editor is a delimiter-aware XML data editor with markup-aware cut-and-paste operations, undo, rectangular selection, clear diagnostics and other innovative attractive tools to handle common XML/XSD editing tasks.
